Project description – AWG Wire Sizes & Brown & Sharpe
AWG Wire Sizes is a guide defining the gauge, diameter (inches and mm), resistance (per 1000ft and per km) and max current (in air and in jacket). Other factors such as ambient temperature, alloy composition and airflow need to be considered as they may cause deviation from the AWG Wire Sizes standardized system.
Also known as the Brown and Sharpe Wire Gauge, the American Wire Gauge (AWG) defines the diameter of conductive wires.
